La Jolla Fisheries Lab Soon Near Completion

Signon San Diego2011-11-17:                      A $56 million fisheries laboratory in La Jolla is 70 percent complete and due for move-in by late February, according to the National Marine Fisheries Service which will use the building as its local headquarters. The 125,000-square-foot Southwest Fisheries Science Center will be home to about 275 support staff and scientists who study many facets of the world’s oceans, from endangered species to the ecosystem of Antarctica.
